Himalayan Guardian Nepal (HGN)

Expanding HGN’s Global Footprint

Trust is the most valuable currency in the tourism industry. To build this trust, HGN has been actively expanding its presence beyond borders, meeting partners face-to-face to demonstrate HGN’s commitment to safety.

• MATKA Travel Fair (Finland): HGN recently showcased its services at the largest travel industry event in Northern Europe. This allowed HGN to connect directly with global travel agencies, explaining how HGN is on the ground support in Nepal to protect their Nordic and European clients.

• FITUR (Spain): HGN’s journey continues in FITUR in Madrid. As one of the world’s most prestigious tourism exhibitions, this platform allowed HGN to position Nepal’s safety protocols on a global stage, reassuring the Spanish and Latin American markets that their travellers are in safe hands.

• Pune TTJ (India): Recognising the massive volume of travellers from neighbouring countries, HGN’s active engagement at the Travel & Tourism Jamboree in Pune highlights HGN’s dedication to regional partnerships and safer cross-border tourism.

• Mumbai OTM (India): HGN continues to strengthen its international presence by participating in OTM Mumbai, South Asia’s largest travel trade show. This event brings together global tourism leaders, agencies, and service providers, offering HGN the opportunity to showcase its Comprehensive Tourism Guard (CTG) packages to a diverse audience.

These international engagements are not just about networking. They are a statement that HGN operates with a global mindset, bringing international standards of service to the local Nepali market.

Comprehensive Tourism Guard (CTG)

Standard travel insurance often falls short when faced with the unique challenges of the Himalayas. High-altitude trekking requires specialized coverage that many general policies exclude or delay.

HGN addresses these specific challenges with Comprehensive Tourism Guard (CTG) and its packages. Designed explicitly for foreign travelers, CTG removes the uncertainty from adventure travel. CTG is a groundbreaking portable device that helps its users (travelers and trekkers) to enjoy the journey in peace of mind. CTG is an innovative solution designed to address the unique risks of traveling and trekking in Nepal. Developed by Himalayan Guardian Nepal (HGN), CTG packages combine insurance with technology, providing foreign tourists and travelers with reliable protection against altitude sickness and medical emergencies and providing rescue support.

By combining international standards with local expertise, CTG ensures that every visitor can explore Nepal’s breathtaking landscapes with confidence, knowing their safety is secured.

What makes CTG different?

• Tailored for the Terrain: We cover altitude sickness and high-altitude medical emergencies, two of the most common risks in Nepal.

• Rapid Response: When a crisis happens at high-altitude locations, time is critical. CTG packages include coverage for helicopter rescue, ensuring that financial logistics never delay a lifesaving evacuation.

• Peace of Mind: Travellers can focus entirely on their experience, knowing that a reliable local team is handling the risks.

Adventure should inspire confidence, not concern. With Himalayan Guardian Nepal, travelers don’t just visit the Himalayas; they explore them with guaranteed safety and peace of mind.

Building a Network of Trust

By participating in major global fairs and promoting specialised products like CTG and HGN, we are doing more than being a service provider; we are advocating for a safer tourism ecosystem.

HGN is building a collaborative network where international travel agencies can confidently recommend Nepal to their clients. When an agency in London, Madrid, or Pune sends their clients to Nepal, they know that if things go wrong, there is a capable partner on the ground to handle it. HGN acts as that partner.

A Promise of Safe Adventure

HGN’s mission is simple: to promote Nepali tourism globally while ensuring safety for every individual traveller.

The Comprehensive Tourism Guard is more than a policy; it is a promise. As HGN continues to grow its international reach, HGN’s message to the world is clear: Nepal is open, the mountains are calling, and with HGN, your safety is guaranteed.
